Sayed Nahiyan Masabi

Sayed Masabi is a doctoral researcher in the Dynamics Research Group at Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering department at Loughborough University. His current research primarily focuses on vibration-based  electromagnetic energy harvesting from both low frequency and high-speed rotational sources to enable self-powered sensing for wireless monitoring applications. The novel concepts designed and realised through his work have led to contributions in journal publications and awards at prestigious research conferences.

Area of focus in AVATAR Project: Development of vibration energy harvesting system for self-powered sensing.
