Jorge Querol

Jorge Querol is a Research Scientist at the SIGCOM research group at SnT - University of Luxembourg. He received the B.Sc. (+5) degree in telecommunication engineering, the M.Sc. degree in electronics engineering, the M.Sc. degree in photonics, and the Ph.D. degree (Cum Laude) in signal processing and communications from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2018 respectively. His Ph.D. thesis was devoted to the development of novel anti-jamming and counter-interference systems for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), GNSS-Reflectometry, and microwave radiometry. Since 2018, he is with the SIGCOM research group, and since 2020, he is the head of the 6GSPACE Laboratory. He is involved in several European and Luxembourgish research projects dealing with signal processing and satellite communications. His research interests include SDR, real-time signal processing, satellite communications, 5G non-terrestrial networks, satellite navigation, and remote sensing.
